Crazy Weather!

On Friday the weather reports were saying that it was expected to snow on Saturday. Of course, we didn't believe that! At most, we figured maybe flurries would fall but not really accumulate or stick. We were wrong!
Anyway, Friday night Sam and I ordered a pizza and decided to hang out at home. He "played football" with Charlie and the other guys Saturday morning; it turns out they all decided it was too cold, went to Target on a quest for one of them to find a shower caddy (how married have they all become???), and had lunch together. I'm glad Sam had some time with some of his old friends. That afternoon, we saw sleet but figured that would be all we'd be seeing. A little while later, snow was actually falling... hard! And what is a better idea when lots of snow is falling? Head to Target! We went and bought some groceries and cleaning supplies for the house. Then, we cooked at home after dragging, pushing, begging, and forcing the pugs to go outside.
Yesterday I worked on my door decorations and March center games for school. Mandy texted me in the afternoon saying she saw that Tipton County would be closed. Woohoo!
So today, I am cleaning and then meeting Sam for lunch at Sekisui. I've never been there. This evening we're having BBQ chicken, green beans, and mac/cheese for dinner. We'll have ice cream for dessert while watching the Bachelor finale. What a happy day!
