On Friday we went to dinner with Ronny and Jon at Memphis Pizza Cafe. We had a nice time catching up. Yesterday I didn't do much during the day, even though there were certainly things around the house I could've done! Last night we went to Jen's parents' house for Shaun's early 30th birthday party. It was nice to hang out with everyone and relax and eat.
Today Sam went to Hope to give the blood he promised; we intended to both go to service and to our married couples' class, but I woke up with a big ole headache that took a few hours to beat. This afternoon we ran a few errands and then came home to have pasta for dinner. Now, I've just finished taking a look at all my syllabus info and calendar/schedule for the very first part of my masters program. It's hard to believe it all officially begins tomorrow! I'm excited to get started on it and feel confident that the three of us will take something positive and practical from this experience. Sam has been a big help in the last few months with navigating the financial aid application process and encouragin me to do this. He's such a great husband.
This week we also have three Grizzlies games. As the season is winding down, this is the most scheduled games for one week in quite a while. We are excited to get to sit in club level for all three games, two of them because of Mandy's vouchers she gave us and one because we bought tickets for us and my parents.
Between starting the masters program, going to three games, and being off from school on Friday, this should be a fun week!
