I thought I'd join the fun and talk about what I'm loving this snowy, no school Wednesday!
What a busy weekend it's been!
My weekend actually went from Thursday last week until today, at least from the way I'm looking at it.
Here's what we've been up to.....
Thursday...
We went early in the morning for my ultrasound to measure my egg follicles. The good news is that both ovaries were working and trying to grow some follicles. (Usually my right one does all the work, and it appears that my left one just takes a permanent vacation. If you're anything like me, this may remind you of group projects from high school and college, where it seems like one person pulled the weight for the group. By the way, that was usually me! Perhaps it was my fault in a way because I also like to feel like I've got everything under control. But, I digress!) The not so good news is that the follicles were still too small. I had one 11mm follicle in each ovary, so the doctor said to wait for a couple days to have my trigger shot. Hopefully the little things are like the tortoise... I'm hoping they just take their time but still eventually grow to the size they need to be!
After the appointment, I went to school for the second half of the day,which was approximately one hour since snowy weather was headed our way and we were dismissing early. As I was leaving school, my administrators asked me to go to a mentor training conference at The University of Memphis for Monday and Tuesday. So, my looong weekend from teaching began.
Here's what I liked about Thursday...
Friday...
I spent the day at home.
