Our favorite things to do on days like this are...
* stay in bed and watch morning news shows
* curl up with the pugs under blankets, sit on the sofa, and catch up on the dvr and Netflix
* At some point, I get a little stir crazy and have to read, make a list, or do laundry
* hop on the treadmill and jog for a little while
Of course, it's imperative that cozy, warm food must be convenient and accessible (and does not require leaving the house). Today's menu includes leftover chicken spaghetti from last night's dinner.

Speaking of chicken spaghetti, my buddy, Caroline, had a great idea that I tried yesterday! She suggested cooking the chicken breast in Rotel in the Crock Pot, rather than boiling it. So, I tried that last night, and it gave the chicken such a nice flavor! When I combine the shredded, cooked chicken with the boiled noodles, Rotel, and Velveeta, I had a notion to add a little shredded cheddar. Once it cooked, the dish had an even richer flavor. Yum!
Thank goodness for snow days!
