Camille, you are six weeks old!

It's hard to believe that you are already six weeks old.  Where does the time go?

In the last two weeks, it seems your personality has become a lot more apparent!  You are a happy girl, and you've become more interactive with us.  When I play peek-a-boo with you, you begin to grin a little or make your "ooh" face at me!  You turn your head toward sounds, and you love music.  Your little light-up butterfly plays a song that helps you fall asleep.  You still like your Glo-Worm, too.  We've also begun reading from a little Kids' Adventure Bible Stories book.  I tell you about Jesus, and we are now praying every morning to say that we are thankful for our little family.  You still have a love-hate relationship with your pacifier.  You only want it right after you have your bottle or if you are especially upset about being gassy.  The only times you cry are when you are hungry or when your belly is hurting.  Your hair is getting thicker and thicker, and I've been having you wear more headbands lately.  Your eyes are still blue-gray.  You also have begun holding your head up a lot more.  You've stopped grabbing your face and are now reaching toward ours when we hold you.  As if you didn't already have us smitten with you, your little face touching habit is really doing it!  You've been to dinner with us and the Taylors.  You went to church for the first time this past Sunday.  You've also gone to Target.  We also went for our first walk around the neighborhood since it's been pretty outside lately.  It's an exciting time for you!  I love to see your face when we walk into a new room... you make your "ooh" face and just look around.   You're beginning to know your bottle and what is in it.  You're just an amazing little thing!
