I got an award!

My blog friend/real life friend just passed along The Liebster Award to me! How sweet! I've never had a blog award before, so I was excited to see this! Thanks, Leigh Anne!

The Liebster Award spotlights up and coming bloggers with fewer than 200 followers. Liebster is a German word which means "dearest" or "beloved." It is also used to refer to as some one's "favorite" and the idea of the Liebster Blog Award is to bring attention to blogs which, in addition to having less than 200 followers, are also some of your favorite reads that you think are deserving of more recognition and encouragement. So, this award is to share with those blogs that you love to love... you know... the ones that you can't wait to see a new post from because some how, some way, the blogger seems to always put words to things in a way that touch you deeply...or make you laugh hysterically...or realize that you're not alone in whatever you're going through, be it good, bad or otherwise. There are certain rules that are to be followed:

• Thank the giver and link back to the blogger who gave it to you.
• Reveal your top five picks and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog.
• Copy and paste the award on your blog.
• Hope that the people you've sent the award to forward it to their five favorite bloggers and keep it going!

Brianna at The Parker Family.... She is a real life friend and one of the sweetest people you would ever meet. She has two precious daughters, too!

Emily at Life in the Fish Bowl.... I got to know her last year when we started our blog dinners once a month. Emily was a Nashville girl transplanted to Memphis and is now a former Memphian transplanted back to Nashville! She and her husband are expecting their first baby, Jack, this April.

Faith at The Long Family... She and I know one another from high school and college. She is such a sweet, sweet Christian person.

Natalie at Sweet Notes from the Stickles House... I love reading her blog and seeing what she is up to with her three cute kiddos. Plus, she is very crafty and stylish!

Courtney at The Scoggins... I just love Courtney. She is a real life friend and vacation buddy. And, she happens to teach in the classroom next door to mine! She, Lance, Jace, and her family are all some of the best people you'd meet!
