Okay, so I figure I should hurry up and post some photos of little bit's room before she begins living in it. You know, while it's all shiny and pristine. :) There are a few things I've added since I took these photos. We have our mobile in there (Thanks, Laura!) and an ottoman/little shelf to go with the glider. So, here it is....
Come on in.....
Her room has a little bit of an angled wall to the right. Past that is the pink chest and then the closet. To the left you'll see the green dresser. We ordered her curtains from PBK. They are blackout curtains, which will help since her room gets lots of light.

this glider is awesome! So comfy. We are going to use the polka dot drawer/shelf as a little hamper and organizer.
the crib...
We went with bedding from Pottery Barn Kids. Above the crib is a set of bird artwork that my sweet friend made for Camille.
Inside the crib... And, yes, we will take out the owl and the blankets when we have a baby in there. :)

I love our dresser. It was my dad's when he was growing up. Sam painted it for Camille. On top is our changing pad and a basket to organize things we'll need for changing her.
I found this old window at an antique store in Bartlett. The chicken wire at the bottom is perfect for holding hairbows. I put a few little vinyl things on the other panes for now, but I am thinking I might use paint and do her little footprints on the pane in order in a row as she grows.
Inside her top dresser drawer are lightweight blankets and extra burp cloths along with swaddle blankets. The other dresser drawers hold extra diapers/wipes, her baby book, extra gowns, etc.

In the opposite area of the room is her closet.
If you stand in front of the glider, you'd be facing her chest. This was also my dad's furniture when he was a kid. Sam did such a good job painting!
We found this frame at the same antique shop.
These shoes are so darn cute that I can't make myself put them in a drawer yet. The lucky girl already has her first pair of Toms.
On top of her chest are her owl bookends (that her dad picked up for her when he was on a work trip last month), her very own Scentsy, and a hat my cousin crocheted for her.
hair things, hats, socks, and a few pairs of shoes in the top drawer
pants, leggings, skirts, diaper covers in the middle drawer
thicker blankets in the next drawer
extra sheets and bedding in the bottom drawer
I plan to take her photo in her little chair every month to show how much she is growing.
So, that's her room! Four days and counting! (Or less!)
