I am back!

It's been a while since I blogged! So, I am going to get all caught up today, and then move on from there!

Holidays 09

My sister came to town for the holidays! This was her first holiday visit in five years, so we were all excited to have her!

When Marsha and I were little, Santa would put out a trail of candy from our bedroom to the living room on Christmas morning. My parents are funny... they had us relive it this year!

So we did lots of hanging out, playing around, playing the Wii, and more. It was a great two weeks! And, we had a blast at Laura's New Years Party!

January rolled around, so it was back to school time! I have gotten started again on my masters classes after our little holiday break. This course I am taking now is all about "action research", where I take a problem in the classroom, come up with a plan to fix it, implement it, and see if it accomplished what I want it to. So far, I like the course! It's nice doing something different. Once this one is finished, there is just one more to go! My group should be done in April! Woohoo!!! My sweet K kids are keeping me busy, too!

Sam was announced Employee of the Month at work! I was so proud of him for that accomplishment! He earned it because of the great things he's done for the city, especially in the last few months. He even found a HUGE chunk of money that the city had been missing out on for a while! I am so proud that he goes above and beyond at work every day! Good for you, honey! I love you!

Sam and I have been doing Jillian Michaels' Thirty Day Shred. We are on day 12 today. That one little twenty minute workout each day is really great, I think! Our goal is to keep with it and try to build up to level 3!

This weather lately has been something else! We are now on our fourth snow(ice) day since the second semester began! I can't believe how much of the wintery stuff we got this past Friday.

This past weekend, we did absolutely nothing, and it sure was nice! Hibernation is a great thing!
