On Friday, we went to Barnes and Noble. Sam got Common Sense and Other Writings by Thomas Paine, and I got Secrets of a Shoes Addict by Beth Harbison. Can ya tell who reads the "smart" books around our house? After, we went to On the Border. Dinner was good, but then they lost our debit card. After about fifteen minutes, our server found it. To be safe, though, we transferred all money out of that account and into our other checking account. We probably won't be back there for a visit any time soon. The good news, though, is since dinner was free, we went out again to dinner the next night!
On Saturday, we had a late lunch at Bahama Breeze for our Valentine's meal. Yum!!! I had the jerk chicken pasta, and Sam had steak. For dessert, we had "chocolate island". It was worth all the extra time I'll have to spend on the treadmill. :) After, we went to the mall in Collierville and window shopped.
Yesterday was Valentine's Day. We celebrated by getting new bedding. I still like what we have in our bedroom, but we decided to move that bedding to the guest bed and get something new for ourselves. I'll have to post a photo later, once it's all put together. Later, we had leftover Bahama Breeze and watched the All Star game.
Today is Presidents' Day. I am off, but Sam is at work. The plan for today is: work out, clean, and paint the hallway. It's going to be a good, full day!
