There's something very special about Valentine's Day with kindergarten kids. This is their first school day to celebrate with those little cardstock valentines, a decorated paper sack, little candies, and the fun of everyone taking a day to show their friends they care. We had a big day of it, too. The kids made "heart person" crafts, decorated their little bags, proudly passed out their Valentines (by the way, Transformers was most popular), and enjoyed ice cream sundaes. It was a big day in K.
Tonight Sam and I are planning on doing our own Valentine's Day. I really want to see the movie "Valentine's Day", since there are so many great actors in it, and to go out do dinner.
But, I am also interested to watch the Olympics opening ceremony. Decisions, decisions....
