Show Us Your Life, Week 1

I missed the "Show Us Your Home" Friday blog activities the last couple months. So, I am definitely getting on board with this activity... "Show Us Your Life!" at Kelly's Corner.

Week 1 is "The Wedding Dress". Here's mine!!

I found my dress at Roxanne's Bridal in East Memphis. It's a Mori Lee. It was "candlelight" and had teeny tiny little crystals on it. Some crystals were clear/white and others were light, light lavendery pink. It was probably the fourth one I tried on. It was definitely my favorite. Then, Jen told me about a place in North Carolina where I could order it... since that company does so much business nationwide, I was able to get it for half the price that it would have cost at Roxanne's.

We got married at Club Windward in Lakeland on May 28, 2004. Stephen Russell took the photos. I can't believe it's been five years!

Since then, the wedding party has bought nine new houses, had six babies, and now live in Bartlett, Collierville, Oregon, California, Midtown/Downtown/Memphis, Atoka, and Arlington.

Just after this was taken, my sister and almost all the guys dove into the pool in their wedding attire. It was a fun night.
