It's hard to believe that a year can go by so quickly. I love every stage that's she's reached so far, and watching her change from a tiny, helpless 7 lb newborn into a giggly, talkative, curious, sweet big girl was amazing. She is the greatest earthly blessing Sam and I have, and she's far more wonderful than I could've dreamed up. I think there's no greater proof that God exists than seeing the miracle of a baby and how they change!
At one year, she was...
saying dada, mama, bye, hi, puppy,
eating everything we put in front of her. Favorite foods included carrots, sweet potatoes, bananas, any Plum organics, and Puffs.
crawling up a storm, standing, and walking a lot with the help of holding onto our fingers. She would take a few tentative steps at a time but wasn't confident with walking quite yet.
22 lbs
half and half mommy's girl and daddy's girl
wearing a size 3 diaper (barely!)
sleeping great at night, but still only napping 30 minutes during the day
finished cutting 6 teeth, and the 7th one had just cut through
busy playing with her Little People Farm toy, her giggle doll, her telephone rattle, her push along puppy, and her little take along doghouse/dog
loving sitting in our laps and "reading" books and having books read to her
