Anniversary Date

We heard that Jimmy Buffett would be in Nashville in April.  We hadn't seen him since I was pregnant. So, we booked our little weekend trip and bought our tickets and called it our early anniversary weekend date.  Lala and Papa kept Camille that Saturday night and Sunday morning.  The concert was lots of fun, and Buffett was great as usual!  This was our third time to see him in concert, and he's has been a blast each time.  I found out that Marriott hotels give teachers the government discount, and rooms are $99 a night, so we saved a bunch of money and stayed at the Opryland Hotel.

We got to Nashville and had lunch at Margaritaville.  Then, we went to the hotel and relaxed for a while.  Apparently it was a prom night.  Prom dresses have certainly changed since I was in high school, and I can't say that they've changed for the better.  I am a little afraid of what will be fashionable for proms by the time the little lady is that age.  Heaven help me.  Anyway, then we took the shuttle to the concert, had a great time at the concert, and headed back to the hotel since it was pouring down!  The next morning we went to Puckett's in Franklin and then headed home!  It's hard to believe that we were already celebrating nine years of marriage!
