So much has happened this month, and Camille has changed tremendously! It's amazing watching her grow and do new things all the time. We are just in love with and fascinated by this little girl.
So, let's take a look at the photo recap....
Can you believe how she has changed?
I am not sure how much she weighs right now. If I had to guess, I'd say around 12-13 pounds. I am thinking she's about 24".
Her 0-3 month pj's fit right now, but I imagine she has just a couple weeks left in them before her legs are just too long! She wears Carter's 3 month onesies and pants. She wears a mix of 0-3 month and 3 month clothes from Gap and Gymboree. It's funny how different the size charts are for different companies. (You'd think everyone could get on the same page.) She's so warm natured that we are really wearing a lot of shorts, skirts, and bubbles now. It's sweet seeing those chunky little legs and feet.
Her size 1 diapers fit perfectly now.
She still loves the play gym and really enjoys batting at her toys. She is fascinated by the light-up little toy on it. She makes lots of noise and coos like crazy under it. She is also loving her little bird-bell toy in her carseat. She hits it and hits it in the car until she falls asleep. We also have a Skip Hop dog and puppy hiding stuffed toy that she likes to touch.
We are reading her kids' Bible adventure story every night and looking at the illustrations. We also received her first Dolly Parton Imagination book in the mail, The Little Engine that Could! We've read it, too.
She wakes up with a smile on her face and stretches with the sweetest little squishy face. She kicks and coos like crazy when she sees something she likes (such as the bottle!).
I love that she recognizes Sam and me and enjoys seeing us.
I went back to work a few days ago, too. So, she has had her first day with a non-family babysitter. Thankfully, Camille and Mrs. Stephanie are getting along great. :)
Her favorite thing in the house right now continues to be the ceiling fan. She also enjoys looking at other light fixtures.
She loves the bath. The octopus toy bar above it keeps her very entertained. Last night, she straightened her little body, reached for it, and actually touched it! Camille even enjoys getting out of the tub and having her lotion massage.
She loves touching Sam's and my face when we hold her. She stares at us and smiles. Amazing.
Her feeding schedule continues to be 5-6 ounces every four hours during the day and every eight at night. We are getting ready to start rice cereal next month!
She is the best sleeper. She usually falls asleep around 7 or 8 at night and sleeps until around 6 in the morning. We'll see how long this continues, hopefully for a lot longer!
It's so exciting watching her grow and change. She is the best thing that has ever happened to us.
