Camille, you are twelve weeks old.

Tomorrow I will go back to work and leave you all day for the first time.  I am going to miss you so much!

You are becoming so fun.  Your little personality is developing.  Of course, as we suspected from the moment we met you, you are terrific.  You are a little giggle box when we make animal noises or sing to you.  You have a little patch of skin on your cheek that gets red and dry.  So, we've been putting hydrocortisone and Aquaphor on it, and it's really helped.  You get so tickled when we do this and say in a very high pitched voice, "Let's put some Eucerin on your face!".  You think it's quite funny.  You love to smile and babble.  You are warm natured, so these warm days we've had lately have really let me put you in some sweet little summer clothes.  Your hair is getting longer.  A few little sprigs right on top of your head are getting longer but don't really lay down.  So, you have a few little spikey sprigs that are precious.  You wake up cheerful.  You love your breakfast bottle and make little sighing noises as you drink.  You are perfectly content sitting in your bouncy seat and watching me dry my hair.  You get excited and kick your legs over and over when we talk to you.  You are still greatly enjoying your play gym.  You still like your mobile, but now you've also begun to enjoy staring at the dot pattern on your crib bumper.  You've been putting your hands in your mouth lately.  Your eyes are now a greenish hazel color.  They've really become more pronounced in this color in the last three weeks or so.  I'm not sure if this is the permanent color, but I'd sure love it if it was.  You usually only take cat naps during the day.  You generally fall asleep for about ten minutes after your 10 o'clock "brunch" bottle and then for about 20 minutes after your 2 o'clock bottle.  After your 6 o'clock bottle, though, you get a little fussy for about ten minutes while you're fighting sleep.  It's as if you just don't want to miss anything.  You usually fall asleep for the night around 8 o'clock.  We can't help but just hod you and love on you until your 10 p.m. bottle.  After that, you sleep until around 5:45 a.m.

It's so amazing to me that twelve weeks have passed by so quickly.  I remember thinking how far away March 15 seemed.  Time has sure passed quickly.  You change constantly.  You seem so big now.  Your personality is really developing, and you are just a total joy.

You passed out under your play gym.

You dressed up in your Grizzlies gear for Dad.

You are the sweetest little cuddler.  This is your favorite position to be held.

Look how long you are getting!

your first day to wear shorts (We have had a fairly warm winter and an early spring.)
