Telling the Parents

Sam and the boys... Tanner and Cole wore hot pink shirts and had balloons tied to their collars so they could "tell" everyone about Camille.

We wanted to tell our parents and Momo about the baby's gender all together on Saturday. So, we had planned to do a simple little lunch at our house and have the five of them over to tell everyone at once.

Everyone wore the color to represent the gender they were predicting! Fun!
Sam and I were neutral and wore lavender.

We ate our pasta.
I set out the tray of cupcakes that I'd made. Everyone was sure that the filling in the cupcakes were our way of letting everyone know the gender.
They did have pink filling, but that was just for fun.

The pugs had been in our bedroom and bathroom during lunch, so we told everyone we wanted to let them go outside very quickly for bathroom breaks since they were whining a bit. This was our excuse to head to the bedroom to get the real reveal ready.

Here's a photo of the boys ready to tell everyone the baby's gender.
They were like little horses at a starting gate, ready for a race.

A few more photos from the day....

After we told our five guests, the phone calls and text messages to tell everyone else began. We had such a fun day, and I am so glad that we planned it the way we did!
