Big Brother 13

If you haven't watched this show, do yourself a favor and tune in! It's my favorite summer show! Last night was the season premier. We saw eight new houseguests and six returning houseguests from previous seasons. (If you haven't watched it yet and want to see for yourself, you should stop reading now!)

The new houseguests all have their own big personalities, of course. But, they were given a run for their money when they realized the big surprise of the season... returning duos from the past! The first duo into the house were Brendan and Rachel. These two are a little much. But, I was excited to see Jeff and Jordan as well as Dick and Danielle return to the show. I think it's going to be a fun BB season!

The Bachelorette

Don't judge me for it. But, my other favorite show of the summer is The Bachelorette. I watch this show every season, too. It's silly at best this season. The bachelorette, Ashley, has a bad habit of "falling for" (as she likes to say) the completely wrong guys. I'm in no position to judge what it's like on a show like this (because I would never want to be on one), but she really seems to obsess over the one guy on the show who specifically told her he wasn't interested in her and left the show. I mean, come on. She should know better. There are a few guys on the show who I believe would definitely be worth it for her to date and get to know better. Obviously, the show is for fun, and few relationships/marriages have successfully resulted from it, but it's fun to watch. If nothing else, for the scenery of their dates alone (Thailand this season and in past seasons, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Europe, Iceland, and more).
