Fall, Y'all

I'm so glad fall is literally just around the corner. It officially begins Tuesday this coming week!

To me, fall means...

cooler weather (makes me want to use the grill again)

working in my flower bed (and, boy do I have big plans)

putting out new door decorations

pumpkin and cider scents in my house

feeling re-energized and wanting to paint a room in the house

getting a new jacket and some new fall clothes

soup

wanting to get Christmas shopping finished early. WAY early.

(It's one of my favorite days with the kids. The shrieks and squeals when they stick their little hands in a cold, slippery pumpkin makes me laugh every time.)

our pretty maple tree in the front yard turning blazing red

taking the boys for walks now that they're able to breathe and not hyperventilate in the heat so badly. Bless their little hearts.
