My cousin, Tammy, is one of those people who can take a look at something, get inspired by it, and make one that's so much more special than the one that inspired her. She can come up with new ideas and create something both beautiful and functional. I have seen this fabulous lady make/decorate a little of everything... curtains, purses, wallets, decorated Keds (hey, it was a long time ago!), And, they were really quite cute and trendy back then!), mirrors, furniture, clothes, and the list goes on. She is also definitely one of those who can find something in a yard sale or some other often uninspiring place and turn it into something wonderful and unique.

This is a photo of my new purse. Isn't it cute? The flower is detachable, and I can't wait to use it on a tank or t-shirt. Tammy is also making me a wallet. I'll post a photo as soon as I get it.

Thank you for such a sweet and inspiring article about my shop. I am trying to get use to the whole stay at home and sew madly every day. It was nice to read your blog post to get me a little more organized and focused to press on with my new venture. Im glad to hear that all is going in the right direction for a new addition.
