This is from last Friday at 20 weeks. (It doesn't look like I am growing that much.)
This is the nineteen weeks photo!
I'll just combine these two weeks' progress.
weight gain:
still about 2-3 lbs.
maternity clothes:
I am wearing all maternity clothes most of the time, plus a couple maxi dresses.
gender:
We are so excited that it's a precious baby girl! We would've been happy either way, but we are very much looking forward to meeting our Camille!
size of baby:
11 oz., 7 inches (She's the size of a banana.)
movement:
She is a mover and shaker (and a kicker and a roller)! This girl is something else. Sometimes I worry why she isn't moving in there at certain points in the day, and I wonder if she's okay. (Then, I have to stop and pray and ask God to please help me stop worrying because He's got it under control.) But, then it's like she gets a message and gives me a few twitches. I mostly feel her around 10 in the morning, 2 in the afternoon, and then around dinner. Just now she has moved in there regularly for a solid hour... she must've liked the chicken we had for dinner! :) At around 2 or 3 in the morning, she will get to moving again. I like to call that her "party girl" time. Sam has been able to feel her a few times now! I am so glad he finally gets a chance to feel her presence!
food cravings:
Rocky Road ice cream after dinner every night, Big Cheez-Its, grapes, sliced green apples
what I miss:
I don't miss a thing! I just want to enjoy every minute of this.
sleep:
I sleep pretty well. Since school has started back and I am getting back into the work routine, I am worn out in the evenings. So, I am sleeping pretty well. The only thing is that I get up to go to the bathroom around 2 a.m. Then, she plays/rolls/wiggles in there for a bit. I definitely don't mind staying up for that! I am having crazy dreams, though. I mean crazy.
what I am looking forward to:
finally ordering the crib bedding. We have definitely picked it out and are happy with our choice. Next up is placing the order, buying the crib, painting the room, and painting the dresser and chest. I am hoping to have those tasks done by fall break.
I am looking forward to the next dr. appointment on the 26th, too! I love that Sam wants to go to every single appointment. That means a lot to me.
symptoms:
I really don't have any complaints. The headaches and nausea are gone.
best moments this week:
I love when Sam is reading his "Dude, You're Gonna Be a Dad" book and says "Hey, did you know...?" and shares something new he's learning. Sam also got a big kick out of the fact that my belly button apparently is attempting to change from an inny to a middy (where it's flat against my belly). It's so strange looking to me! We also went ahead and registered at Babies R Us and Target and had a big time doing that! We are excited to be at the halfway point! This pregnancy is going by so quickly!
