But, it turned out that the weather wanted to wait just for us....
We got to the dock, debarked the ship, and began our excursion, the deluxe snorkel and sail beach party. We got on a big catamaran, rode it to our snorkel site, snorkeled and saw literally hundreds of fish in schools (I've got to put the waterproof camera pics on the computer), and went to the private beach for more fun floating and enjoying everyone's company. The rain came down a tiny bit as we snorkeled (we didn't mind since we were already wet) and as we were coming back to Cozumel. It's like it was timed perfectly. After our excursion, we all had a fun lunch at Three Amigos. We all then had fun shopping in the market area. Sam and I got a set of coasters made from stone and bone, a couple t-shirts, a couple ornaments, a map of the Caribbean. Afterward, Sam and I headed back to the ship and watched people boarding. We enjoyed another great dinner with the big group. Such a fun day. I was glad everyone liked the excursion, considering that Sam and I were the ones who picked it out based on our first experience on it last October!

As we were back on the ship, the weather started changing. We hit some crazy winds on our way north that evening, and the waves reached 20-25 feet! It was kind of cool to see it out our stateroom window. And, it was definitely interesting getting used to walking with the ship shifting and tilting a bit.
Now, we're wondering about staying a week in Mexico for an upcoming vacation!
