To be totally honest, yes, I saw that my nice Kitchenaid cookware was not supposed to go in the dishwasher, and I was so good about handwashing it for about a year. But, then it began to just look so tempting just to throw it in the dishwasher with the rest of the cooking tools and the dishes and be done with it. But, I have learned. I've seen the damage on the "nonstick" finish. Even though I still don't understand how a dishwasher that uses soap and hot water (compared to my hands using soap and hot water) can be so damaging, I have seen the results. I am reformed. I promise. So, now I am trying to figure out what kind of cookware I want. So far, the Paula Deen stuff is drawing me in. It might just be that she seems so warm and sweet, and that maybe I'll be more inspired to try out all kinds of exciting, new (and hopefully very nutritious) recipes with her cookware. Plus, here copper bottom collection and her green nonstick collection have pretty good ratings on all the store websites I've visited. What do you think? Nonstick? Copper bottom? Paula Deen or another brand?
And, I need help with the dishes... I don't want them to cost a lot of money. It would be very nice t be able to get a big portion of the set as gifts or with Christmas money. The requirements are:
1. The dishes need to be brown, green (like the same kind as the nonstick Paula Deen color), cream, or plum. Those colors would work best in my kitchen.
2. I like square or round plates. Either is fine with me. They need to be durable and maybe mix and match.
3. The bowls can be deep or shallow. I don't care.
4. My silverware that I love has that kind of bamboo looking silver handle. So, I want whatever I get to complement it.
Any thoughts? Have you seen anything you like?

Look at TJ Max, Target, Marshalls. You can get dinner sets fairly cheap. I need cruise advice. What's the best one you've been on?
Caroline, I will message you! Thanks for the tips!
