1 - 8 oz. Philadelphia regular cream cheese
1 - pack of regular Oreos (or double stuffed, if you are feeling froggy)
1 - container of vanilla almond bark (Kroger brand works best, in my opinion, but the melting trays that come with the brand from Target are good for melting them.... decisions, decisions. I suggest you buy one vanilla pack from Kroger and chocolate pack from Target. That way you have vanilla flavor, a good melting tray for the microwave, and some chocolate you can use to drizzle the top.)
Beat the heck out of your Oreos in a food processor until they look like they have the consistency of coffee grounds. Then, put in your cream cheese and blend it well. (I have found that if you put your mixture in the freezer for about ten minutes, it is easier to work with when you are rolling it into balls.) Melt your vanilla. Then, roll your Oreo blend into little quarter size balls and dip them in the vanilla. Let them sit and dry on wax paper. Once you're done dipping them in the vanilla, melt the chocolate and drizzle it on them for decoration.
makes approx. 40 truffles
I will post pics soon!
