So... this has been one memorable weekend! Friday night we were supposed to go to see Fireproof at church with our new married couples class at church. We ended up deciding to just rent it and watch it at home in bed while eating dinner... I love our Friday nights!
Sam brought me flowers Friday night. Sweet guy.
On Saturday, we went to lunch at On the Border with Laura. Afterward, we went to the travel agency to talk to an agent about going to Sandals Ocho Rios and Sandals Royal Caribbean. An hour and a half later, we left the agency excited about the idea of a trip. At Target a little while later, we picked up dog food and a few little things. Then, since my cycles are crazy and I've had some cramping and I wanted to be sure about the results before putting a deposit on the trip, I decided to go ahead and pick up a pregnancy test...
This morning I took a test, and up pops the second blue line. It was faint, but it was there. So, I said, "Hey, Sam....!!". He looked at it, and we had a big discussion about a line being a line. We went to the early service at church, went to married couples class, lunch, and then back to Target to buy the test that says "pregnant" or "not pregnant". We got home, I took the test, and less than a minute later, it said "pregnant". I walked into the kitchen, test in hand, and once again said, "Hey, Sam..."! Yep, it looks like we're having a baby!! Oh my!!! A little later, we went out for a walk and kind of played around/talked about the concept that a little person is growing inside me. At this point, I'm excited, but it still feels surreal. Wow. What a weekend.
