Happy 30th to me!

I recently celebrated my 30th birthday.  The plan was to pick up an easy dinner that night and then celebrate over the weekend by going on a date with Sam.  Here's how it actually went....

I woke up to this....

Sam (and Camille and the pugs) had ordered some sweet birthday cards on Shutterfly for me.  Sam and Camille also got me a beautiful initial necklace I've been wanting for months.  The day was off to a great start.  Even a couple of my sweet K kids remembered my birthday.  That evening, Camille was tired (from being a non-napper, of course), and I was ready to pick up dinner, bring it home, and call it a night.  Sam insisted we go to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner.  I was absolutely not interested in this, especially seeing as how I was already in my comfy clothes and Camille was, too.  I just wanted to get my McAlister's sandwich and go home.  Well, Sam was absolutely insistent on going to BWW.  So, we did.  And, there were a group of family and friends waiting for me.  He and Jennifer were so sweet to plan a little surprise party!  We had a great time.  That weekend, Sam and I had our date night at Calabash, the new restaurant near our house.  It was a great 30th birthday weekend!
