On the Move

Sugar Puff is sitting up!  She has been trying to do this for a while and has been pretty good at it with some support for a while now.  But, last night she really made some progress.  She can't yet go from a lying position to a sitting position on her own. However, once we sit her up, she can maintain it for almost a minute by herself.  We are so proud!

She still is not a big fan of tummy time.  Where she used to scream on her tummy, she now just solves what she sees as a problem.... We put her on her tummy, and she immediately rolls right to her back.  The girl is not a fan of that position.  We can lie in the floor with her, sing songs, make noise, put toys in front of her, etc.  It doesn't matter what we do, she is rolling right to her back in no time.  Since she isn't liking tummy time, she isn't interested in rolling from her back to her tummy.  We are still working with her on it several times a day when she is in a happy mood.  I hope she will become more willing to be on her cute little belly, since that's obviously where she needs to be in order to eventually learn to crawl!
