Camille is six months old!

We are certainly enjoying our summer!

Little Bit had her six month check-up on June 20.  Here are her stats...
26.5 inches! (75th percentile)
17 lbs, 2 oz! (75th percentile)
44 cm head circumference (85th percentile)


She is wearing both 6 month and 9 month clothes, depending on what it is.  The 6 month things are getting smaller and smaller on her.

She has moved into size 3 diapers.

Her favorite toys right now are:
the bouncy thing
her light-up musical stacker
zebra hanging toy

She is such a good eater...
We get up around 6 a.m., have oatmeal/fruit mixed together and a  6 and a half oz. bottle, another 6 and a half oz bottle at 10 a.m., fruit or a veggie at noon while mommy eats her lunch too, another bottle at 2 p.m., a veggie at 5 p.m., and the last bottle at 7 p.m.  She has known what her bottle looks like and gets very excited when she sees it.  But, now she also recognizes her bowls, spoons, and food and gets so excited!
Her favorite foods are bananas, sweet potatoes, green beans, and mangos.


She usually goes to sleep at 7:30 or 8 p.m. 
Her little personality is showing more and more.  We just love how happy she is and what a big smile she has on her face when she wakes up.  She is just cheerful, cheerful, cheerful almost all the time.  She is giggles, smiles, and does her best to get your attention.  She babbles and kicks her legs when her daddy gets home from work.  She is fascinated by the pugs and wants to touch them whenever she sees them.  


In the last month, she...
* continues to dislike tummy time.  She doesn't get as aggravated about it anymore, though, because now she...
* rolls from her tummy to her back every time we attempt to put her on her tummy
* So far, she will NOT roll from her back to her tummy.  This worries me a little.  I am still trying to figure out how to convince her to be on it a bit so that hopefully one day she will attempt to crawl.  Her pediatrician says this is fine and that she is "right on track" with her gross motor development.  
* has moved on to three meals a day and from five to four bottles a day.
* has gone to the beach for the first time.
* has been to Nashville for a playdate with little Jack
* spent lots of time at home with Mommy during summer break
* has been swimming a few times

Instead of posting pics from all previous months, I thought I'd post how our six month "photo shoot" went.  Taking photos of our busy girl was much more interesting this time!
