Fourteen Weeks

Time for a baby update!

I am now fourteen weeks (and a half, really) pregnant! Here are a few pics...

Overall, I've been feeling pretty good. I had a string of pretty bad headaches (five headaches in eight days) in the last week or so. It's the kind where it feels like a piercing pain behind my eye, and it hurts more if I lie down or am not sitting up. Sometimes a Tylenol helps, and sometimes it doesn't. I get nervous taking pain meds or other nonprescribed meds while pregnant, so I am reluctant to take Tylenol when my head hurts. We are pretty much avoiding them until I am desperate! I think the headaches are either hormone related or due to the recent weather changes with the rain. I have been headache free for three days now, and the relief feels like a little vacation. If you've been pregnant, did you have headaches like that?

My energy is starting to come back some. I stayed up late last night cleaning out the master bedroom closet. I reorganized and refolded all clothes, made room for maternity clothes that my mom and I shopped for yesterday, and reorganized my shoes. All that's left to go through in the there now are my purses. My mom and I went maternity shopping yesterday and found a lot of cute tops and things to get me going for back-to-school season while the weather is still warm.

I think I may have gained a pound or so. I had a little nausea for a while. But, now I am starting to get hungry again!

Tomorrow we will go for my next appointment to see how the baby is doing!

Sam and I just continue to be excited about the baby and watching my belly grow. I am so glad we have made it this far in this pregnancy! We are just continuing to pray and hope that the baby keeps on growing and doing well!
