I am on to the next protocol cycle. (The last one didn't work out as hoped.) Yesterday, I was a bit frustrated. But, today is better. Onward and upward!

So, here's the new plan....

Letrazole days 3-7

Follistim shots days 5, 7, and 9

ultrasound/bloodwork #1 on day 10

After the first ultrasound and bloodwork, we will have a better idea how many more shots and ultrasounds will be needed. This time, we also have to decide if we will try IUI, too. This costs a bit more, but I am wondering if it may be worth it, even if it just helps our chance of getting pregnant even just a little.

I also talked to my nurse today. She said that most people do this protocol three times before they move on to IVF. (This is our second time that is beginning now.) This is a huge decision. Though the chance of getting pregnant will great increase (from about 20% now to 77%), so will the expense (from about $2,000 to $12,000). It's a lot to think about. Hopefully God's plan will be very clear in the coming months, and we will know what is the path we should take.

So, please say a prayer for us. We could use a little guidance!
