Yesterday we got really ambitious! I touched up the paint around the house. Sam went through old files and shredded a bunch of stuff we no longer need. We mulched and landscaped, and I started painting the trim on the parts of the exterior I could reach with a ladder. I decided to paint the little shelf in our dining room mustard yellow... I think it will look good against the chocolate walls and with our cream shag rug in there. Today I still have to put the antique gloss on it. Painting wood furniture is fun! I'll post pictures of all our hard work soon.
It's so nice that this week is spring break! Tomorrow some girls are coming over for a jewelry party. My friend and fellow teacher, Courtney, has started selling it. Hopefully the party will be a good one that helps her get off to a good start. Other than that, there's not too much planned for the week. It's hard to believe there are just five weeks left of school.
