That whole "work hard, play hard" saying was like the theme of our weekend. Sam was off all weekend, so we had lots of time together. Friday night we had a fabulous upgrade at the Grizz game and had a great view to watch them win. Mandy and David were also at the game, so we ended up going to Pearl's afterward. Sam and I had oysters for the first time (I didn't really like them, Sam loved them). Next, we went to Blues City Cafe. At some point in the night after we got home, Sam got sick from either the the stomach virus going around my school (Being the carrier I am, it's possible I brought him this little treat) or the oysters. Since he now loves oysters, though, he's not willing to blame the oysters!
Saturday I worked and worked on masters stuff all dang day! It was my fault for procrastinating, so this weekend I had to write three little papers, read three brain book chapters, read a chapter from the strategies book, read an online article, and complete two study guides. I got some of it done during the day. Then, we met Allyson and Brad for dinner at Chili's; it was really nice seeing them and catching up. We definitely need to do that more often.
Today I continued to work on school stuff. I took a little break when we went to the Grizzlies Fan Appreciation Day at Putt Putt. We haven't been to that place in years, and it was neat to walk around watching people, eat free BBQ, talk to some of the players, and watch the players try to fit their big ol' long legs in the go carts. Pretty funny stuff. When we got home, I had to finish my readign assignments. I finished a couple hours ago, made dinner, and am now hanging out with Sam and the boys on the couch before heading to bed.
This was a busy and good weekend. Just four school days til spring break!!!
