Long weekends are the best! Friday night Sam and I had a nice quiet evening at home, eating Chinese takeout and catching up on the DVR. Yep, we're wild! Saturday during the day I went to Jazzercise. Afterward we did chores around the house. Sunday we went to church and heard Craig continue his series on the "it" in our lives that we need to lose. This week he talked about prejudice. The thing I love about our church is that it is led by someone who doesn't just preach at us about what we should do; he actually lives and does to (the best he can) what he talks about. He is great friends with other church leaders around town.... from Temple Israel, Mississippi Boulevard, and New Direction. Our church even has a weekend where we're exposed to other denominations as their church leaders come to our church to give messages. That's why I love my church... it's a come as you are, we've all made bad choices, let's try to be better, let's learn from one another as we grow closer to God kind of place. Anyway, so Sunday afternoon we had lunch at Memphis Pizza and then spent time at home. Today is MLK Day... we are home right now and I am about to get on the treadmill. Then, later we will go to the Grizzlies special MLK tribute game. Then, it'll be time to get ready for school tomorrow. But, who wants to think about that yet!!
