We stayed at the Mariott downtown, across from the kids' museum. Staying within walking distance to all the downtown activities was perfect.
Little lady was a big fan of the bed. She was all about sleeping in a hotel room!
We walked across the big pedestrian bridge each evening.
We went to the big carousel on the other side of the bridge one evening,
and then she played in the fountain next to it.
The next day we visited the Chattanooga Discovery Museum.
(dad's hand, mom's hand, her hand)
We visited the Tennessee Aquarium the next day.
We ate at Mellow Mushroom a couple times during our visit.
We also tried out Good Dog one evening. It was a little gourmet hot dog restaurant. It was actually delicious! While we were out that evening, we also stopped by the local yogurt shop and walked around downtown a bit more.
We will definitely visit Chattanooga again. It's an easy weekend trip that's perfect for a family. The downtown area is very clean and family friendly. People are everywhere downtown, and it seems everyone is very active. The culture there is fun and friendly, and definitely worth a visit.
