I love the series of monthly photos. I know I am partial, but man, she is cute! Do you notice how her arms spread out more and more with each month?
Her 3 month pjs would all still fit her, except for the fact that her legs are too long for them! Her little torso is thin and short, but her legs are long. So, she is mainly wearing 6 month Carter's pjs and 3 month Gap pjs (since they run bigger than Carter's). She is still wearing Carter's 3 months onesies, and we can now make the 6 month onesies work, too. She wears 3 months pants and shorts, but they look a bit short on her. :)
We just bumped up to the size 2 diapers.
Camille is still enjoying her play gym, and her little bird carseat toy. In the last month she has started playing in her bouncing activity center thing. When she sits in her swing, she now likes holding the soft stuffed doll one of my kindergarteners got her. She lights up when she sees her! It's the sweetest thing. She loves touching the book pages when I read to her at night.
We have settled into our school week routine pretty well. Our sitter keeps her Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. My mom keeps her on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I usually get up around 4:45 to get ready and make sure her bag is ready (or her stuff is ready at the house for my mom). Then, she sees my mom or the sitter. After work, we play together until her dinner time. Then, the three of us hang out around the kitchen table while we eat and feed her at the same time. We all hang out a little more and then do bath time. We follow that with a bottle and she pretty much falls asleep until I wake her the next morning.
Her personality is so sweet. She wakes up happy, giggles all day, and has the sweetest little laugh. Sometimes she sits in our laps and cranes her head up and back toward us. She smiles when we talk to her and is so much more verbal than last month. She squeaks and coos.
Her feeding schedule is 6-7 ounces every four hours. She has begun having rice cereal in the evening during our dinner time. She hated it at first but seems to be enjoying it much better now that she's had a little practice with the spoon.
She continues to love sleeping and does very well sleeping through the night.
In the last month...
* She has had her first colds. It's been a little frustrating. She will feel bad one week with a stuffy nose but no fever. Then, she's fine the next week. But, then she feels bad again the next. There's not much we can do but let it run its course each time and use the saline, nose sucker, and humidifier. Frustrating.
* She went to her first birthday party for our friend.
* We enjoyed a week off together for spring break.
* We went to the zoo for the first time.
* We celebrated our first Easter.
* We met her new cousin, Asa.
Happy four months, sweet Camille! We love you so!
